On Saturday morning, the students will meet at school at 7:30 a.m. to get into uniform and get their instruments. From there, they will need to get to Westhoff Elementary (900 Homefield Blvd) parking lot to line up for the parade at 8:00 a.m. It would be best to coordinate with another student to leave a car at school while getting a ride to Westhoff. Then they can go pick up the car at Westhoff after the parade. At Westhoff, parking will need to be in the surrounding subdivision on the street, off of the parade route.
After the parade, we will have group and individual band pictures on our practice field. Pictures will be between 10 and 11 a.m. Students who have been with other Homecoming groups during the parade (court, sports teams, etc.) will need to report to the band room and get into uniform at 10 a.m. All seniors must have their individual picture taken. All other students have the option to get an individual picture taken. These will be used for senior plaques that they will receive at the year-end banquet. Pictures may be ordered online. The students will receive information about how to order pictures online from the photographer.
The Boosters will serve a meal – if you have been contacted by Carolyn Hendrix to bring something please bring it to school by 9:30. After pictures, we will finish eating and get back into uniform for our performance. The band will perform its show at pregame. We will report to the field at 12:25 p.m. to take the field for our performance at 12:35 p.m.
The band will be released at the conclusion of halftime. This will allow students who have hair appointments for the Homecoming Dance to fit those in during the afternoon. The approximate time students will be released will be 2:15-2:30 p.m.
